Spring Clean

My end result of tidying the ribbon box- thought it made a nice pic too!

Well it all started when... I sat in front of the telly with my boxes of ribbons, which were long over due for a sort out! I should have taken one of those before and after shots! anyway, it has got me addicted to cleaning! I think also because we went to an auction today and picked up some real bargains, so having to find space to fit them in. One of my new motos for stuff is if it doesnt have a home... BIN IT! (it works most of the time, but not ALL of the time!)

Back to School

I felt as if I was going back to school yesterday- only because I was doing some colouring in! You see the black rim around the white button...yep I coloured it in to tie in with my colour scheme, I like to think it was worth it in the end..

Distressed, but I'm happy!

Oo i really enjoyed doing this sketch for the mid week DCM challenge, I had so many ideas think I will definately use the template again! As you can see I went for the slightly distressed look. I am keeping a record of sketches in a book, just like ruth! Great minds hey sis!

Flower Power

Oo goody a joint job! Di hickman joining forces with Ink-stains, and this is what I have come up with for the sketch... Sorry for dark photo, I made sure I was near sunlight as well!

Striking and Sassy

I fancied going a bit daring and bold, so with inspiration from Elegance redifined (scroll down her page), I made some hearts... and this is what I came up with. Felt kinda nice to be able to make a card without a sketch or a challenge! I was starting to rely on those!

Something Old, Something New

I have been wanting to use lace on a card for a while, and finally got the chance in the CPS challenge, I didn't realise you were supposed to use a stamp as well, but it so happened that I put Happy Birthday on anyway! I have called it something old something new, bcause the element of bright pink makes it that little bit modern

Yet another parcel popped through the post from Jane (DCM as part of my prize) thanks Jane for the lovely bits and pieces, gorgeous blooms, and handy buttons!

Daisy, Daisy

Heard yesterday of a little girl born into the world called 'Daisy', so that set the old clogs going for a baby card, and the most obvious of thoughts for ideas were of course- flowers! Thought it might make a nice change to pink as well!

The Future is Bright, The Future is.... ORANGE

Well I phoned my creaser tool that I had lost! yeah! But now lost the wod 'Get' in my stamp set you know for get well soon.... ARGH!
