After seeing Di Hickman's sketch for this week, the idea came to me! A farely blank canvas card using my new QK alphabets, and embossing 3squares along the top and bottom, finishing it off with gross grain ribbon and a heart pin. I made this card with a congratatualtions on a baby card, as one of my sister's is due to give birth any time now.... this card I made with a scrap of card that was sitting on my table for a while that I teamed up with the feather- waiting to be used...

Reaching Retirement
Feels like ages since I have blogged... what the half term holidays, and stroking the guinea pigs, I have neglected my craft table- not by choice! Was lacking in inpiration so took a look at the latest challenges and sketches on the various sites, good old DI HICKMAN came to my rescue with her sketch. I used the stripey effect in the ribbon to follow the effect of her sketch (have a look at her blog so you know what I am talking about!). Doh! just realised I am like a week behind! oh well... I recently bought this stamp as I thought it would be nice to makesome retirement cards- so here is my first...
