Stitched Up

Wednesday Stamper Challenge for the next couple of weeks is to incorporate stitching. I lvoe stitching on cards and wish i was brave enough to give it a go, I fear needles broken and tantrums starting! May be one day... But in the mean time my trusty faux stitch stamps come to the rescue! Just what I needed to add the finishing touched to this card...
I used tapestry stamp pegs, for the floral detail in the border, prima flowers, ric rac, and some sticker toppers I got in the sale from Accesorize

Life to the Full

Here is my FIRST 6 x12 layout for the SALT challenge, Life to the Full "This theme comes from the verse John 10:10b where Jesus says that He has come so we may have life and have it to the full (or in abundance)!" Using torn DCWV paper in floral and denim, I really liked the contrasts of these papers and coloured the edge and details of the flowers in with pearlescent paint. I used brads to complete that rough denim look. And used a white sukuru pen for the detail on the photo and title. The finishing touch was the tag that says 'In my Thoughts'

As Promised...

As promised here are my latest cards including birthdays, plus a friend leaving to go back to New Zealand, I am hoping my friends get to see there cards first before seeing them on my blog!

Busy Bee Me!

A busy August time, with lots of Birthdays and cards to make! Will put pictures up on next post...The Sunflower card is made using the CPS sketch and the DCM challenge to use a photo. Great chance to use some newly acquired Bascic Grey papers! A stampin up flower stamp (background), a prima and some gorgeous flowers my hubby gave me! (photo)

"It's Oh So Quiet..."

For those regular visitors to my blog, no nothing is wrong I am fine! Sorry for not updating as regularly, I have been kept busy with commissions so not as much time to take up challenges. As well as trying to use my time wisely on revision for the dreaded driving theory! My booking is confirmed for 24th August (2 days before my birthday! So I do hope I pass!) In the mean time I shall leave you with a few of my latest commissions...
