Love & Lace

This is for Wednesday Stamper, theme of: FLOWERS, so subtly used it to fill in the gaps and addd a bit of colour

My aim was to make more wedding cards, as thats was one of the things that came out of doing the card party, and secondly I could use my new wedding stamp, and I said to myself I must make more that one of the same card (where possible!)

Minimal Materials

Caardvarks have set the challnge to use patterned paper from 3 manufacturers, I took the opportunity to use some new scraps, from a scrap swap I hosted on a forum, with the addition of the denim paper I already had. The branch is from the same paper as the big flower.

Super Size me!

The card party last night was a great success, I made over £80! from 9 buyers. And... got a few commissions as well, everyone was very complimentry about the cards. I took the opportunity for a bit of market research and got them to fill out quesitonnaires regarding cards, which was a real help- looking at the results. Talking of commissions, well they keep rolling in, I love doing them and on average have been having one a week. They all seem to be on larger card though? Gone are the days of doing them on A6, I was a bit daunted at first doing the large size, but sometimes it is easier... here are the ones so far, I have another one to do still...Oh man the slide show thing is updating, will have to post pics...

Something Fishy Going On...

Cor bit late this week on the DCM dare: to use something 'clear'! Was racking my brain, then decided to do this fish card, I used to make these when I first started card making, then I discovered these plastic domes which make it look even more like a fish bowl!

A close-up of the dome incase you can't see it clearly (sorry about the pun!)
