Opening Windows of Opportunity

Thanks to Daring Card Makers, I have been given the opportunity to explore different ideas and techniques to make different cards. The challenge was difficult this week! "...I'm going to dare you to use 20/20 Vision for your cards.I'd like you to use 20 of one particular thing on a card - be it blooms, papers, brads, ribbons the choice is yours - you can use other things too, but there must be 20 of one item/component - not 20 things altogether, that would be too easy. For instance, can you use 20 different papers on one card? 20 Ribbons?Or 20 Blooms - well surely that one sounds easy...Now if you're really up for a challenge and want to try for TWO lots of 20 - well - then we'd all be really impressed! We're really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this one..."
I went for the kill, and managed to use 20 swirls, with 20 diamantes, and 20 white stitches in the ribbon!

Phew! and there was me thinking we'd caught you all out with this one and it would be HOURS till someone said they'd done it. And here you are already and with 3 lots of 20 on your card. Well done Esther - you're first past the post with this one1

Love the idea of the 20 swirls....

I LOVE your card Esther! Well done on getting 3 lots of 20 onto it - you really have raised the bar for the rest of us!

Further to your question about Inchies - they are exactly what they say! 1"x1" squares, decorated...sort of like ATC's but a MUCH smaller scale! They are great for using scraps up and are very addictive!UK Scrappers has a thread going about them and people have also posted pictures of the ones they have made so far. Some of them are fab..someone has even done a waterfall card effect on one, its so dinky!

Thanks for your posts on my blog! I'm determined to have a bash at the ATC's, just need to try and get used to working on a completely different scale. As soon as I manage to get my head around them I will post some pics!

P.S - Well done on winning the mini challenge!
