Heart Felt Thanks

I hunted high and low, then thought I might have even got rid off it- there was one last place I needed to look... And there it was! The only felt I own, and that I needed for this weeks DCM Challenge and Caardvarks too! 'Make a card and include some felt, the theme & style are entirely up to you...' So I took the word literally and made this...

Blanket stitched around the heart, used dymo labels, and red ric rac on gingham paper

I love this card. The felt heart and gingham give it that homespun feel and red is my favourite colour!
I would be honoured to be blog linked btw. One day I'll get mine up to date too.

Such a sweet card. The blanket stitching lends wonderfully to the warm feel of the card. Neat idea!

Oh it's lovely Esther, it looks a little like a quilt, clever play on words, and I love the ricrac!
Gorgeous Work Hun...

ps.. I'm posting your puzzle piece, sorry It'll be upside down, can't fix it, cause it's super stuck down, and the design just won't work the other way around anyway with the shape it's in, hope this is ok :S

HeeHee, there must be something about red felt, hearts and gingham (sneak a look at the card I just popped on my blog if you get chance!). Love your play on words and the overall effect is great - nice job.

Oh it's beautiful Esther. It all blends together so well. (I see what you meant in another blog about the great minds think alike - but they are still different interpretations. )

You stash looks interesting. There are some small things in the photo which I can't make out. They look a bit oriental - like little cushions. Can you work out what I am talking about? If so, what are they?
