Pearl for Merle

This is a recent commission for a lady who wanted a 30th anniversary card (PEARL) managed to incorporate the names (mike & Eve) by using some stickers form the DCWV wedding stack, and some off cut papers. The pearl heart I am ashamed to say is another sticker (I like to make things like that rather than buy) although it was a present so doesnt count. Had the idea in mind of how I wanted this to look, and came out very close.

Now I know if something is not working out you should walk away and come back to it, but for some reason I kept trying to perservere to get this card right. But STILL wasn't happy, so I eventually slept on it (not literally of course!) and thought- it needs detail! So added some diamantes, primas and a few dragonflies and ah! thats better! Happy now :) So here is the BEFORE

and AFTER shot

and this was another card using the off cuts, I smudged the stamped 'Get well soon' by accident, so kept on smudging and thought it looked alright! Good old discovery by accident!

These cards are gorgeous!
I thought the card was great as it was, but the bling and dragonflies really do add the perfect touch!
And what a fab discovery! The smudge effect looks fantastic!

Love the colour combinations. Well done for turning the smudging into a special effect (no mistakes in crafting)

Gorgeous cards Esther, the way you've put the names on the pearl one is genius, and the pinks on the other ones are so warm and berry like! stunning.
