Busy Bee Me!

A busy August time, with lots of Birthdays and cards to make! Will put pictures up on next post...The Sunflower card is made using the CPS sketch and the DCM challenge to use a photo. Great chance to use some newly acquired Bascic Grey papers! A stampin up flower stamp (background), a prima and some gorgeous flowers my hubby gave me! (photo)

"It's Oh So Quiet..."

For those regular visitors to my blog, no nothing is wrong I am fine! Sorry for not updating as regularly, I have been kept busy with commissions so not as much time to take up challenges. As well as trying to use my time wisely on revision for the dreaded driving theory! My booking is confirmed for 24th August (2 days before my birthday! So I do hope I pass!) In the mean time I shall leave you with a few of my latest commissions...

As Bright As You Like!

I felt like doing a cheery card yesterday, so here is my card for the Caardvarks challenge, a recipe of 1xEmbellishment (I used a brad in the hope that ribbon is not included!) 2x Patterned papers, 3x Flowers. I really enjoyed this and being inspired by people like Jo I added some doodling fo rhte first time! I love it! Could be my new craft addiction!

"A Time For Everything..."

Here is my card for the DCM challenge of time, which I seem to have less of these days! But I suppose that's life! Need to get on with revising with my driving theory which is booked for the end of August! So more time taken with that.

The card has a time themed background (which is mainly covered over!) other elements of time include the watch and a definition of time.

SALT without the pepper!

Here it is a new challenge site http://www.saltfaithchallenge.blogspot.com , I feel honoured and blessed to be involved! We are a team of like minded craft lovers but also brought together by the love of Jesus Christ. The idea is to express out faith through the gifts and talents he has given us. Once every two weeks we will produce work based on a challenge which we hope will inspire you to produce work of your own. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN ALL WELCOME!!!

The piece I made for the first topic of 'PRAISE' is a paper bag album, which has been split into the months of the year, so at the end of the year, I will go back and fill it in of how the Lord has blessed me and those around me.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow"

The grand launch of... nope still not telling, only a day to wait though! You better come back to find out hadn't you!

Coming soon to a blog near you!...

Ah now that would be telling, you will have to just coming back to see what happens, only a week to wait!

Check out the check

You might have to look closely to find the 'check' for this weeks DCM challenge, but the black and white theme that Creative Ideas set is a bit more obvious!

Used Anna Griffin paper, with a stamped paisley background, and a charm that says hand made with love to finish off.
